What's Love Got to do with it?

One of my great thrills in life is being a facilitator of Financial Peace University classes. It's been a while and am eagerly looking forward to the next one.
The rewards of facilitating are beyond measure. The most gratifying and humbling aspect is knowing that the God I adore hand picked me to help so many people become great stewards. I get choked up just thinking about it. What an honor! But there is another reward - a much more primal, provocative way. And it's guaranteed to happen-- right around week three. After class, women will sheepishly begin to gravitate toward me, lining up to tell me something that makes them all blush. They are compelled to thank me for improving their sex lives! I laugh and congratulate them, and give the credit to God. I mean really, I'm not a sex therapist. He is the Great Healer. And when your marriage has been burdened with the stress of financial insanity, chances are pretty good your sex life needs divine intervention!
So, if you're looking to kick start your sex life in time for Valentine's Day, you'd better get hoppin'. Go to the Free Stuff Column on the right side of this page and get yourself a budget form. Say a prayer and fill it out, pronto! Then, follow the instructions to start living a cash-only life style and get your debt snowball rolling! If you put the process into high gear and do it together with you Hubby, you will begin to feel the pressure lift by Saturday. But, the most important step in all of this is to pray together, giving both your financial life and your sex life to God. He wants both of them to totally rock and He will be tickled pink to help you!

Are you eligable for free tax preparation?

Free Tax Prep for Qualifying Taxpayers
Low and moderate income consumers can get their taxes prepared for free at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. Generally, people making less than $42,000 per year are eligible. These sites, sponsored by the IRS, won’t pressure customers to get RALs (refund anticipation loans that charge as mach as 48% interest), and they don’t charge fees for tax preparation. Consumers can locate their nearest VITA site by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.

Senior citizens and military personnel can also get free tax preparation help. For more information, visit the IRS website.
